About The Author:
I was born at Leachville, Arkansas, the fourth daughter of a Misssissippi Delta cotton farmer.
I attended high school at Leachville and later married my high school sweetheart at the age of sixteen.
I have always had a love for writing and have written short stories since my childhood.
When my husband took a job near Birmingham, we moved to Alabama with our three children. When our youngest child started first grade, I enrolled in the University of Montevallo,at Montevallo, Alabama where I studied Creative Writing and attained a BS Degree in Elementary Education.
Now, at the age of seventy, having been married for fifty-four years, I have published my first novel,'Hideaway'. My husband has always been my number one fan and has always encouraged me in my writing.
I plan to continue my writing and publish more in the future.
